Sr. Power BI Developer with Python

Duration: 12+ Months

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Power BI Consultant to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Python to deliver actionable insights, automate processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring high performance, scalability, and user adoption.
• Write and optimize DAX expressions for calculated measures, columns, and advanced business logic.
• Design and maintain robust SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support analytics needs.
• Utilize Python for advanced analytics, data transformation, and integration with machine learning models.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into data models, and deliver intuitive, interactive solutions.
• Implement best practices for data visualization, modeling, and governance across multiple projects.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in BI development, with at least 5 years focused on Power BI .
• Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling .
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar) for data preparation and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data wrangling, analytics, and automation.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working directly with business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Power BI and analytics solutions.
• Exposure to predictive analytics and integration with AI/ML models.
