Overview

Florvets Structures is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various IT projects for our company.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for IT projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Collaborate with IT team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT project resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change requests.
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
