Application Consultant – Dev Ops

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant – Dev Ops position for our client.

Location: Houston, TX.
Duration: 11 months.

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK).
• Migrate applications to AWS Outposts using modern automation and GenAI-assisted migration tools.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI, AWS Code Pipeline/Code Build).
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads on EKS, ECS, and Fargate.
• Implement scaling, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Enforce AWS security best practices (IAM, Secrets Manager, network security).
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams.

• AWS Dev Ops engineering
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK)
• CI/CD automation
• Containers and orchestration (EKS, ECS, Fargate)
• Monitoring, logging, and observability
• Cloud security and compliance

• 5+ years of AWS Dev Ops experience
• Hands-on AWS Outposts migration experience
• Multi-account AWS environments

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer (required)
