about the project:

seeking a people soft fscm developer to support critical financial system initiatives, including development and enhancements related to prompt pay act compliance and the transition of p‑card processes for the purchasing department and the auditor’s office.

the effort will focus on ensuring timely vendor payments, improved financial controls, and alignment with company policies and audit requirements.

the developer will work closely with functional teams, purchasing, and the auditor’s office to design, develop, test, and implement fscm solutions that support accounts payable, purchasing, and p‑card processes within people soft.

requirements
  • senior‑level people soft fscm professional with strong hands‑on experience in fscm development and integrations; deep technical expertise in supporting financial modules and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • people soft fscm development (accounts payable, purchasing, and p‑card).
  • integration development using people soft technologies such as apis and integration broker.
  • designing, building, and integrating restful apis to facilitate seamless data exchange between the erp system and other applications (e.g., saas, on‑prem, mobile apps).
  • proficiency in relevant programming languages (java, python, c#), with a solid understanding of data modelling and database management (sql server, mysql, oracle).
  • experience with api management tools and best practices for api security and performance.
  • guiding technical design sessions and contributing to the team’s knowledge sharing.
  • troubleshooting and support: identifying and resolving technical issues within the erp system and its integrations with cross‑functional teams.
  • techno‑functional experience recommended.
skills and proficiencies
  • proficiency in people tools 8.55 or above.
  • proficiency in people soft 9.2 fscm.
  • in‑depth understanding of people soft architecture and application suite.
  • developing application engines, application packages, sql and people code.
  • developing reports in bi publisher, sqr, people soft query, and flat files.
  • developing integration broker and web service integrations in xml or rest.
  • change management and object versioning (phire or stat).
  • people soft approval framework.
  • people soft exceltoci.
  • developing fluid pages, dashboards, activity guides, event mapping, drop zones, page field configuration, page composer, work centers.
  • in‑depth understanding of user‑level and row‑level security (portal user profiles, permission lists and roles).
  • microsoft office suite.
  • experience with oracle and/or sql databases.
  • overall knowledge of fscm modules (accounts payable, gl/kk, purchasing).

  • implement and test api solutions for functionality, performance, and security.
  • develop data transformation pipelines to convert data formats and structures for seamless exchange via apis.
  • follow project management guidelines and be process‑oriented.
  • design high‑level technical design process flow diagrams.
  • conduct rigorous testing: unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure functionality and reliability of erp solutions.
