Job Description: QSR Industry SME / Domain Expert

The QSR Industry SME (Subject Matter Expert) will provide deep expertise on the Quick Service Restaurant industry to guide strategy, decision‑making, and solution development across the organization. This role requires strong knowledge of QSR operations, market trends, competitive dynamics, and restaurant performance metrics, with significant exposure to the US/North America market. The SME will help shape strategic roadmaps and support analytics and AI initiatives with industry context.

• Act as the primary domain expert on QSR, restaurant, and retail operations.
• Analyze US/North America QSR market trends, consumer behavior, competitive shifts, and growth opportunities.
• Provide strategic recommendations that support long‑term planning, innovation, and operational excellence.
• Define and refine key financial and operational KPIs relevant to QSR performance.
• Guide analytics and AI teams by embedding industry context into dashboards, models, and business solutions.
• Translate industry insights into clear strategies, roadmaps, and action plans for leadership.
• Support cross‑functional teams on topics such as menu strategy, pricing, labor, supply chain, and store performance.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
• Maintain strong connections with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

• 7+ years of experience in the QSR, restaurant, retail, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of US/North America QSR market dynamics and operating models.
• Experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or performance management within QSR.
• Ability to interpret data and provide actionable industry insights.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
