This position is at the Kingwood Campus.
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Monitors the operation of the general computer lab
- Assists with Software installations if needed
- Greets students as they come into the general computer area
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provides data entry for the Help Desk Ticketing System
- Provides first Tier user support to students and faculty
- Performs opening and/or closing procedures; and other duties as assigned
- Must have good telephone etiquette and good customer service skills
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Internet browsers, MS Office Professional Suit, and other applications
- Must be a self-starter in exercising initiative with the ability to get things done by performing daily tasks effectively
- Solve basic routine Software and Hardware issues as necessary
- Must be a current UHD student
- Must be able to work the evening shift (4 pm to 9 pm) and/or split shift
- Experience requirements:
Less than one year
