Key job responsibilities- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Expect moderate travel

Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent
- Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations
- Knowledge of AWS or technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
- Experience (technical or educational) in Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience as primary account manager of a global federated enterprise working with multiple business units and influencing governance and policy
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers
- Experience selling cloud solutions
