Our Client has an Immediate Opportunity for Sr. Data Analyst / BI Analyst - Power

BI & Power Apps to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Positions are to be based in Houston, TX 4 days per week onsite. Acting as an agent of technical progress, you will interact with key stakeholders across the Enterprise, particularly within Enterprise Architecture & Data Management teams, providing consultative strategy, business planning, KPI development, initiatives for analysis, and operational optimization.

Collecting and presenting data and analysis, creating dashboards and scorecards to identify drivers and create strategic recommendations, presenting to Enterprise Leadership.

• Provide consultative insight and actionable items.
• Support insight with statistically relevant evidence, evangelize, educate and hold stakeholders and team accountable in their design and interpretation of analyses.
• Accountable to the quality of data sets and reporting.
• Ensures all requests are logged for data, reporting, and analysis.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

5-7 years of experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Snowflake, SQL and SQL Server.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.

Field of Study:
Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.

• SQL database experience, pull data via queries. SSRS experience is a plus.
• Advanced Power BI skill set with advanced DAX, Power Query or SQL queries.
• Proven implementation of value adding data visualization design and best practices.
• Front end reports development in Power BI.
• Any experience with ETRM is a big plus.
