Position Summary

The Utilities Back Office Principal Consultant/Architect is focused on the Utilities Industry to facilitate the implementation and support of the IS‑Utility (IS‑U) solution, focusing on the short‑ and long‑term strategic business benefits for our customers. You will define our client’s core strategic roadmap and provide leadership in their digital transformation journey. As a trusted advisor, you will understand high‑level business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions, driving business value and successful outcomes.

Role

Requirements

You will define industry‑typical business processes and map customer processes to the related process levels. You will design the architecture based on process requirements, application, and system landscape. Finally, you will develop high‑level roadmaps with team members including the project manager.

Must Have

• Minimum 7 years of SAP consulting experience in the Utilities Industry with a focus on the IS‑Utility Solution.
• Broad knowledge of the SAP IS‑Utility Solutions and deep industry expertise.
• Expert‑level knowledge in billing, device management, work management, APE (Advanced Planning and Execution), asset management, and EAM.
• Ability to support a Design Success model to ensure customers use “Fit to Standard” and “Clean Core” methodologies.
• Extensive functional and/or solution experience facilitating, implementing, and supporting SAP products to enhance clients’ business functionality and overall performance.
• Assist clients in achieving their digital transformation journey by leveraging S4
  
  HANA and defining strategic roadmaps.
• Provide key insight and direction related to industry trends, best practices, and world‑class solutions.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead executive‑level engagements and manage project teams.
• Thought leadership and resolution of complex issues in escalated projects.
• Performance of feasibility studies, process design reviews, and pre‑sales support.
• Excellent interpersonal skills such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information clearly.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree – Master’s degree preferred but not required.

Compensation Range Transparency

Targeted combined base salary and variable incentive range: USD 151,900 – 258,300.
