Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Service Now IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist/Developer to design, configure, and enhance ITAM solutions on the Service Now platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), working knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM), and hands‑on experience with integrations and CMDB management.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Service Now ITAM modules, with a primary focus on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and preferred exposure to Software Asset Management (SAM).
Ensure asset lifecycle processes align with ITIL best practices
, from procurement to retirement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Service Now solutions.
Integrate Service Now with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and support end-to-end data flows.
Maintain and enhance the CMDB
, ensuring data accuracy and relationships across asset classes.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and support platform upgrades.
Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and process workflows.
RequiredSkills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Service Now ITAM modules
, specifically HAM (mandatory) and SAM (preferred).
Good understanding of ITIL practices and asset lifecycle management frameworks.
Experience with
integrations

Working knowledge of CMDB structure, data models, and dependencies
