Position SummaryThe Advanced Analytics Manager will lead a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to design and deliver high-impact analytical solutions across the enterprise. This role will focus on developing predictive and prescriptive models, optimizing business processes, and embedding data-driven decision-making into the organization’s operations and strategy.
The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with strong business acumen and leadership skills, enabling the translation of complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of advanced analytics professionals (data scientists, analysts, and data engineers).
- Develop and execute the advanced analytics roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and business objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify high-value use cases and analytics opportunities.
- Design, implement, and operationalize predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models across functions such as supply chain, pricing, inventory management, logistics, and customer analytics.
- Drive data exploration, feature engineering, and model development using statistical, machine learning, and AI techniques.
- Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure scalable data infrastructure and analytics deployment.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for executive and operational stakeholders.
- Build frameworks and dashboards for performance measurement and continuous improvement.
- Champion a data-driven culture across the organization through training, communication, and storytelling.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
Master’s preferred. - Experience:
- 7–10 years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles.
- 3+ years in a leadership or management position overseeing analytics teams.
- Experience with in distribution, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Technical
Skills:- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar analytics programming languages.
- Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to translate data into business impact.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
