Data Migration Lead

Job Title: Data Migration Lead.

Location: Houston, TX.

• Lead and manage the end-to-end data migration lifecycle including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
• Define and implement data migration strategy, roadmap, and approach for the project.
• Collaborate with functional leads (FICO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.) to identify migration objects and define data mapping rules.
• Oversee data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and validation activities to ensure data quality.
• Develop and manage data migration templates, functional mapping documents, and data load programs.
• Utilize tools like SAP Data Services (BODS), LTMC, LSMW, and Migration Cockpit for data load execution.
• Coordinate mock loads, test cycles, and cutover rehearsals to validate data accuracy and process readiness.
• Establish robust data reconciliation and sign-off procedures with business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards.
• Lead a team of data migration specialists, manage deliverables, and report status to project management.
• Work closely with technical (ABAP/PI/PO) teams for automation and integration during migration.
