ResponsibilitiesJob Purpose
Successful candidates should be customer service‑oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources.
Key Accountabilities
- Responding and resolving desktop support inquiries via our ticketing system, email, or phone. (Service Now)
- Excellent communication skills are a must (face‑to‑face, written, and telephone)
- Good organizational skills, able to handle projects and prioritize tasks as they present themselves
- Software Support - troubleshooting, installing, upgrading, and removing applications. (Windows 10, Office
365) - Hardware Support - troubleshooting, reimaging, and building client machines
- Mobile Device/Tablet - troubleshooting, upgrading and setup assistance
- Active Directory Administration - user accounts, security groups
- Conduct User IT Orientation to go over resources and services
- SharePoint - site creation, administration, and troubleshooting
- Unified Communications - Cisco Webex, Call Manager, MS Teams administration and troubleshooting
Experience/Qualifications/Education Required
Educational Requirements
4‑year Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or Associates/Computer Certification.
Required Work Experience
Minimum 2 Year’s Service Desk experience, some server administration a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Able to work flexible and weekend hours
- Able to follow direction, work with the team, and work independently
- Understanding of Asset Management systems such as LANDesk or SCCM
- Familiarity with Lenovo Think Pad laptops and Dell Opti Plex desktops
