This role will be onsite at our client's office in downtown Houston 5 days/week. We cannot sponsor visas nor do C2C arrangements.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Solutions Analyst to support critical oil & gas business systems focused on accounting and finance. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical and functional skills, with the ability to work independently and add value quickly without extensive oversight. This is a long-term engagement with significant opportunity for growth and potential conversion to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Apply knowledge of the software development lifecycle to ensure effective design, testing, and deployment of solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and system enhancements.
• Assist with product management tasks, helping to shape roadmaps and deliver value across teams.
• Provide functional insight into oil & gas accounting processes to align technology with business needs.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues with minimal supervision.

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Strong SQL development and analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in product management or similar stakeholder-facing roles.
• Knowledge of oil & gas accounting concepts (Joint Interest Billing, Revenue, Regulatory, DOI Decks).
• Excellent problem‑solving ability; able to work independently without hand holding.
