Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Activation:
    Collaborate with the Operations and Outreach team to find creative ways to activate passive candidates and maximize our existing database.
  • Strategic Submissions:
    Submit qualified candidates to client firms’ internal recruiting resources and manage the entire interview lifecycle.
  • Outbound Sourcing:
    Supplement inbound flow with targeted outbound sourcing to identify top-tier talent.
  • Candidate Advisory:
    Sell the opportunity effectively, advising candidates on why a move benefits their career, and navigating them through the placement process.
  • Reporting:
    Maintain high quality conversion rates and report directly to firm leadership.
  • Relevant

    Experience:

    3-5 years of experience in a Big Law environment or at a recruitment agency focused on Big Law attorneys is required. This could be as a practicing attorney, business development within a law firm, or recruiting at a firm or agency.
  • "Batteries Included" Expertise:
    You must bring existing knowledge of law firm practices, the ability to differentiate between them, and their impact on the law firm. You need to be able to differentiate between sub-practice areas (e.g., M&A, capital markets, fund formation, debt finance, and litigation).
  • Sales Acumen:
    Strong persuasion skills and the ability to "talk the talk" with high-achieving attorneys.
  • Recruiting

    Experience:

    Not required but a strong plus. We can train you on the recruiting process if you bring the industry knowledge and drive.
  • Efficiency:
    Consistently get quality candidates in front of clients quickly for open mandates.
  • Quality:
    High ratio of candidates submitted that move on to interviews.
  • Experience:

    Deliver a seamless, professional experience for candidates and clients.
  • Upside:
    Uncapped commission structure once the draw is covered.
  • Trajectory:
    Opportunity to advance to more senior searches, take on greater responsibility, and/or leadership roles.
