Position SummaryiEducate is seeking an HR Specialist to oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and HR operations for tutors and staff, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage onboarding for tutors and staff, ensuring completion of background checks, I-9s, and compliance requirements.
- Support HR operations, including recruitment, personnel management, benefits, and performance management.
- Oversee tutor HR processes, including performance management, policy updates, and handling complaints.
- Manage relationship with district partners to ensure tutors successfully complete all district compliance onboarding requirements including background checks
- Conduct exit interviews and oversee offboarding processes.
- Maintain HR documentation and support staff with policy-related inquiries.
- Support whole organization compliance and culture initiatives
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred
- 3-7 years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Experience in HR operations, compliance, or employee relations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders alongside excellent communication skills for resolving issues. The ideal candidate will also have strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
