Corporate Recruiter

Overview

As a Recruiter for 48forty, you’ll partner with hiring Managers across the country to build their teams by managing the entire recruitment process from team planning and job creation through sourcing/evaluating candidates and the offer process. This role is vital to the success of our organization, as we are a high-volume recruitment team that attracts and hires people who will contribute to the culture and growth of our organization.

• Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process
• Track and measure recruitment KPIs
• Manage all communications with candidates from application through onboarding
• Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and through referrals
• Screen candidates and schedule interviews
• Organize hiring events and prepare job fair or hiring materials
• Generate weekly and monthly reports
• Conduct meetings and/or training sessions for Hiring Managers, when required
• Implement strategies to improve Quality of Hire and decrease Time to Fill
• Provide a positive candidate experience to all who apply
• Provide constant status updates to Hiring Managers
• Prioritize critical roles and act with urgency when necessary

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
• 1-3 years of experience in a Corporate Recruitment role
• Experience recruiting in Canada preferred
• Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems (ICIMS preferred)
• Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques
• Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial, Manufacturing or Construction industries strongly preferred

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• This is a hybrid position working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
• Ability to travel as needed
