Position OverviewWe are looking for a driven and ambitious Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our Oil & Gas recruitment team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with a background in sales, customer service, or target-driven roles who are looking to build a long-term career in recruitment.
You will be trained to source, qualify, and place candidates into Oil & Gas roles while building strong relationships with both clients and candidates. This role offers structured training, clear KPIs, and strong progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Source and engage candidates for Oil & Gas roles using job boards, Linked In, referrals, and networking
- Screen candidates via phone and video interviews to assess suitability
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with candidates and clients
- Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
- Work towards individual and team KPIs including calls, interviews, submissions, and placements
- Actively market candidates to clients and promote job opportunities
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM system
- Stay informed on Oil & Gas market trends and client needs
This role is well-suited to candidates who have worked in:
- Sales (B2B or B2C)
- Account management
- Customer service or retail with targets
- Call centre or telesales roles
- Proven experience working towards KPIs, targets, or sales goals
- Confidence communicating with people at all levels
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Resilient, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Desire to build a career in recruitment
- Interest in the Oil & Gas industry (experience not required – training provided)
