Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and continuously improve new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records (digital and physical) and ensure proper documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Monitor and support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, partnering with HR leadership to implement updates as needed.
- Support internal and external HR audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
- Generate HR metrics and insights to support strategic decision‑making.
- Recruitment support including posting positions, reviewing resumes, conducting reference checks, and preparing employment offers and contracts.
- Administer employee benefits programs, assist employees with benefit inquiries, and coordinate annual enrollment activities.
- Support payroll processing by preparing employee changes, reconciling data, and resolving payroll issues.
- Manage leave of absence administration, including documentation, tracking, and communication with employees and managers.
- Partner with leaders to track employee development plans, performance review cycles, and progression activities.
- Serve as a first-line resource for employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support employee relations by assisting with investigations, documenting cases, and advising employees and managers on HR best practices.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, culture-building efforts, and communication plans.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and make recommendations to HR leadership for improving retention.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes.
- Occasionally travel to support onboarding, training sessions, or company events as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of HR experience preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
