Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and continuously improve new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records (digital and physical) and ensure proper documentation throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Monitor and support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, partnering with HR leadership to implement updates as needed.
  • Support internal and external HR audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
  • Generate HR metrics and insights to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Recruitment support including posting positions, reviewing resumes, conducting reference checks, and preparing employment offers and contracts.
Benefits & Payroll Support
  • Administer employee benefits programs, assist employees with benefit inquiries, and coordinate annual enrollment activities.
  • Support payroll processing by preparing employee changes, reconciling data, and resolving payroll issues.
  • Manage leave of absence administration, including documentation, tracking, and communication with employees and managers.
  • Partner with leaders to track employee development plans, performance review cycles, and progression activities.
Employee Relations
  • Serve as a first-line resource for employee questions on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support employee relations by assisting with investigations, documenting cases, and advising employees and managers on HR best practices.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, culture-building efforts, and communication plans.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and make recommendations to HR leadership for improving retention.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes.
  • Occasionally travel to support onboarding, training sessions, or company events as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of HR experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
