About the Role:
City Security Services is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support our growing physical security guard operations. This role focuses on employee onboarding, HR administration, asset management, and regulatory compliance within a low-medium, multi-site security environment. This position does not handle recruiting, payroll processing, or insurance administration. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the physical security, guard services, or regulated workforce industry and is highly detail-oriented with strong audit and compliance skills.
- Manage end-to-end employee onboarding using the company CRM, ensuring all hiring documents, licensing, certifications, and training requirements are completed
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation using Netchex (HRIS), Track Tik (guard management software) and ATS (Applicant Tracking Software)
- Oversee asset management for security uniforms, equipment, and issued tools, including tracking, reconciliation, and returns through Track Tik
- Ensure compliance with TOPS (Texas Online Protective Services - state security regulations and licensing requirements)
- Prepare for and support TOPS state compliance audit and internal audits
- Partner with Operations and Compliance teams to ensure officers are field-ready
- Support employee relations documentation, performance records, corrective actions, and on and offboarding processes
- Respond to HR-related inquiries from security officers and supervisors regarding onboarding, credentials, assets, and policies
- Assist in developing and maintaining HR SOPs, compliance checklists, and process improvements
- Organize and maintain inventory of all uniform items and equipment
- Issue uniforms through Asset Mgmt. module in Track Tik to employees during onboarding and ensure returns upon termination
- Document issuance and return processes
- Maintain minimum stock levels for re-ordering
- Track uniform usage and sizing needs
- Coordinate with uniform vendors for delivery and receipt of uniforms and patches
- Notify Finance and/or Human Resources Departments of employee equipment purchases to ensure applicable invoicing or payroll deductions are processed

- 1–3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR Compliance role
- Preferred experience in physical security, guard services, staffing, construction, or other regulated environments
- Knowledge of HR compliance, audits, and workforce documentation
- Preferred or similar experience with HRIS and workforce management systems (Netchex and Track Tik systems preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient data entry skills; typing speed of at least 45+ words per minute
- CRM experience and familiarity
