The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, assisting with HR processes, compliance activities, and employee support. This role helps ensure efficient HR operations, accurate recordkeeping, and a positive employee experience while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to school policies and procedures.
Qualifications / Training- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience or training in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HR/Payroll support role
- Previous administrative or human resources experience
- General knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Ability to work with multiple systems and platforms
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities

Director of Human Resources
Major Responsibilities And Duties Vendor and Third-Party Compliance- Coordinate the onboarding and compliance setup of vendors, contractors, and other third-party partners in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between the school and third-party contacts to ensure completion of required compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of approved vendors and third-party partners
- Manage and maintain third-party compliance data within the regional third-party management system
- Coordinate pre-employment compliance for candidates, including assembling required documentation and ensuring application files are complete
- Partner closely with the HR Director throughout the hiring and clearance process to support candidate approval and onboarding readiness
- Monitor ongoing compliance for current employees, including required trainings, safeguarding certifications, and background documentation
- Proactively follow up with employees to maintain continuous compliance with school and group requirements
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department
- Assist with onboarding activities and employee record maintenance
- Support payroll processing as needed
- Respond to routine HR inquiries and escalate matters appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee records
- Assist with scheduling, meetings, and HR-related events
- Support one-time and ongoing HR projects, including record digitization, system clean-up, and process improvement initiatives
- Support departmental reporting, data tracking, and audit preparation
- Comply with all school policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
