Technical Recruiter

We’re a relationship-driven recruiting firm based in Houston, partnering with clients across the construction and industrial sectors to help them build teams that actually last. We don’t measure success by how many resumes we send. We measure it by trust, outcomes, and the ripple effects of hiring well.

We’re growing and looking to add a Skilled Trades / Industrial Recruiter who knows how to find skilled trades talent that is not sitting on job boards refreshing Indeed.

You’ll support both our staffing and direct-hire clients
, primarily recruiting for skilled trades and industrial roles in the construction and industrial sectors. This is a full-cycle recruiting role, from intake to placement, with the tools, support, and autonomy to do the job the right way.

This is a hybrid position
, based in Houston. Expect to be in the office on average 3 days per week to start
, with flexibility evolving over time as trust and rhythm are established.

• Recruiting hard-to-find skilled trades talent through proactive sourcing, outreach, and relationship building
• Managing full-cycle recruiting: intake calls, sourcing, screening, coordination, and offers
• Partnering closely with clients to understand their environment, expectations, and real needs
• Using a robust recruiting tech stack to support, not replace, human recruiting
• Building long-term relationships with candidates, not just filling today’s role
• Representing MBSG with professionalism, integrity, and care—for both clients and candidates

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  , preferably in:
• Skilled trades
• Construction
• Industrial environments
• Proven ability to recruit for hard-to-find talent (you know how to hunt, not just post)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple searches at once
• Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, even when it’s harder
• Base salary + commission (commensurate with experience)
