The Role

As a corporate recruiter you are responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and hiring qualified candidates for a company. You will collaborate with hiring managers, use various sourcing methods, conduct screenings, and facilitate the hiring process. You will ensure a seamless experience for both the company and candidates, playing a crucial role in building a skilled workforce.

This position is part of the company’s People & Culture team and reports directly to the Recruitment Lead based in Amsterdam. This position will also report to the Head of the North America Office.

The role will consist of, but not limited to, the following actions on a daily basis:

  • Sourcing Candidates:
    Actively search for potential candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Candidate Screening:
    Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications to determine their suitability for specific positions.
  • Interview Coordination:
    Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth interview process.
  • Interviewing:
    Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
  • Feedback and Communication:
    Provide feedback to candidates after interviews and maintain regular communication to keep them informed about the hiring process.
  • Negotiation and Offer Management:
    Collaborate with hiring managers to prepare and present job offers to selected candidates. Negotiate terms and finalize employment agreements.
  • Onboarding Support:
    Assist in the onboarding process by ensuring new hires have the necessary information, resources, and support to integrate smoothly into the company.

Relationship Building:
Foster positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

The Requirements

In order to be considered for the role you will meet the following:

  • Native English speaker
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications
  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate recruiting and/or agency recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven expertise in sourcing and evaluating candidates using a variety of recruitment methods
  • Articulate, precise, and excellent communication skills (giving and receiving feedback)
  • Climate advocate with a drive to leave the world in a better place
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • The candidate must be able to travel to Amsterdam for a two-week onboarding program at our headquarters.
  • Living and working in Houston, Texas
