Job SummaryThe Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a trusted advisor and hands‑on partner to our leaders and teams. This role goes beyond HR compliance; it’s about understanding our operations, supporting business goals, and helping our people thrive. You’ll work closely with managers to align talent strategies with project and operational needs, ensuring our workforce is engaged, skilled, and ready to deliver excellence.
Focusing on building strong relationships, learning the company’s operations, and fostering a people‑focused culture. By combining operational understanding with a commitment to people, the HRBP helps create a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
- Collaborate with leaders to align workforce strategies with operational priorities.
- Understand the flow of our projects and business needs to provide practical HR solutions.
- Advise on team structure, staffing, and development to support performance and growth.
- Build trusted relationships across departments to support employee engagement and retention.
- Partner with managers on performance coaching and career development.
- Support succession planning and leadership development efforts.
- Champion a people‑focused culture that values respect, collaboration, high performance, and accountability.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to foster trust and engagement.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience and retention.
- Act as a resource for employees and managers, focusing on a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide guidance on day‑to‑day employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration of new hires in the absence of the HR Assistant.
- Support compensation, benefits, and leave programs with a focus on clarity and care.
- Support HR operations such as recordkeeping, reporting, and HRIS data management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field/equivalent experience;
Construction industry experience preferred - 5+ years in HR, preferably in a business partner or generalist role
- 3+ years in Business and/or Operational roles outside of HR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build trust and influence
- Quick learner with a genuine interest in understanding construction operations
- Passion for employee engagement and organizational culture
- People-focused mindset with a passion for employee engagement and organizational culture
- Knowledge of HR fundamentals, employment practices (construction experience preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- You’re solution‑minded and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- You communicate clearly and listen actively. Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- You balance people priorities with business realities.
