Pre- Investigator

Location: Houston, TX – Galleria Area (On-site, 5 days/week)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Employment Investigator to join our investigative team in our Houston Galleria office. This role is 100% on-site, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive background checks on job candidates, ensuring all findings are accurate, thorough, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Your work will directly support employers in evaluating candidate suitability and mitigating potential hiring risks.

• Conduct background investigations, including verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant credentials.
• Analyze findings and prepare clear, accurate, and well-documented reports.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with applicable legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal team members and clients to gather necessary information and clarify details.
• Manage multiple investigations simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage sensitive information with integrity.
• Previous experience in investigations, compliance, HR, or related field is a plus but not required.
