As our Banquet Manager, you are the driving force behind every celebration, meeting, and special event hosted in the hotel. From planning and preparation to flawless execution, you ensure every detail is just right for our guests and for our team. What You’ll Do Lead & InspireBuild, train, and develop a high-performing banquet team.
Create a positive, team-focused culture rooted in respect, accountability, and genuine hospitality.
Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and recognition.
Conduct performance reviews and support team growth.
Schedule staff strategically to support events while managing labor costs.
Plan & Execute Exceptional EventsOversee the day-to-day banquet operations from setup to breakdown.
Lead weekly BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings and ensure accuracy and readiness.
Review BEOs for details, anticipate needs, and prepare your team for success.
Conduct pre-function meetings to align the team on event specifics.
Inspect banquet rooms to ensure every setup meets and exceeds client expectations.
Partner closely with Sales, Catering, and the Culinary team to ensure seamless execution.
Order and manage linens, supplies, food products, and equipment as needed.
Own the ExperienceDeliver 100% guest satisfaction through exceptional food, beverage, and service standards.
Be visible and present during events—leading by example.
Address guest concerns with empathy, urgency, and follow-through.
Create memorable moments through thoughtful, personalized service.
Drive Financial & Operational ExcellencePartner with the F&B Director to forecast, budget, and achieve financial goals.
Monitor labor costs and productivity standards.
Lead monthly inventories and manage department resources responsibly.
Analyze performance and implement improvements where needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and grooming standards.
Champion Safety & SustainabilityMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
Ensure adherence to health department regulations and safety programs.
Support environmental initiatives and sustainable hospitality practices.
Maintain strong communication across departments through meetings, logs, and updates.
Attend mandatory meetings and contribute to overall hotel success.
Step in wherever needed to support the team and operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise banquet staff to ensure successful execution of all events.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while maintaining performance standards.
- Schedule staff based on business levels while managing labor costs effectively.
- Oversee daily banquet operations, including event setup, service execution, and breakdown.
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and conduct pre-function meetings to ensure event readiness.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Catering, and Culinary teams to deliver seamless events.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve service concerns.
