Lead Housekeeping Supervisor

Double Tree Hotel by the Galleria is looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented Lead Housekeeping Supervisor. If you’re passionate about housekeeping and have strong leadership skills submit your resume to apply!

• At least two (2) of hotel Housekeeping Supervisor experience required
• Flexible to work AM, and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays
• Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus
• Extensive administrative experience, strong computer literacy skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Word programs;
  Excel, Word, Power Point
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds, stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and perform repetitive bending and stooping motions
• Strong and effective communication skills to lead housekeeping team and efficiently communicate with managers and supervisors in other operations departments

• Assist with supervising all housekeeping staff
• Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and service elevator landings and provide feedback when cleanliness standards that are not met
• Assist with onboarding and train new hires
• Resolve guest concerns related to cleanliness issues and ensure cleanliness standards are met
• Open and close department, run reports, conduct pre-shift meetings and attend required in absence of executive housekeeper
• Assist with leading housekeeping supervisor team and delegate duties to support daily operations of the department
• Analyze business needs and make operational decisions in absence of the Executive Housekeeper
