Job Description:
The pharmacist will be responsible for medication order verification, supervision of technical support personnel, and performing final dispensing checks, among other related duties, within the hospital pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:
Medication Order Verification / Entry
Supervise technical support personnel in drug preparation and distribution systems.
Perform final dispensing check of all medication orders and complete required documentation.
Review / Monitoring of Override Reports (and other reports)
Requirements:
Prior hospital experience (prefer at least 2 years)
Proof of completion of 20 hr ACPE-accredited sterile compounding course
Active Pharmacist license with Texas State Board of Pharmacy
