Position:Clinical Dietitian
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement care plans, and communicate effectively with patients and families in an age-appropriate manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred - Certified Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietitian (LD) from the Texas Department of Licensing
- Pediatric Nutrition experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient nutritional care plans
- Provide age-appropriate education to support nutritional care and assess learning needs of patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes through nutrition
- Participate in research and interpret findings to improve clinical practices
- Document nutrition care effectively in medical records and utilize SBAR for handoffs
- Contribute to departmental policies and resources
