Clinical Dietitian

Department: WC Clinical Nutrition Services

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian who thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement care plans, and communicate effectively with patients and families in an age-appropriate manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred
• Certified Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Licensed Dietitian (LD) from the Texas Department of Licensing
• Pediatric Nutrition experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient nutritional care plans
• Provide age-appropriate education to support nutritional care and assess learning needs of patients and families
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes through nutrition
• Participate in research and interpret findings to improve clinical practices
• Document nutrition care effectively in medical records and utilize SBAR for handoffs
• Contribute to departmental policies and resources
