Job Summary:
Responsible for providing clinical leadership and project oversight for implementation of clinical projects.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provides clinical leadership in implementation of the clinical initiative;
Coordinates and directs meetings of the project implementation workgroup. - Works closely with the technical project manager to ensure timely and effective completion of project milestones.
- Assures that revenue, expenses, contribution margin and FTE’s meet or exceed budget; prepares and submits budget and related reports; forecasts and accurately projects expenses; takes corrective action to address negative variances; identifies and proposes capital budget items appropriately.
- Develops and coordinates the communication, education and training plan related to the clinical implementation project.
- Assists leadership in the implementation and compliance of campus quality programs, including hand hygiene, etc.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.

- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing;
Bachelors degree or alternate educational plan;
Advanced degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license/permit to practice professional nursing
Experience / Knowledge /
Skills:
- Minimum eight (8) to 10 years clinical experience
- Management experience preferred
- Experience in change management and implementation of innovative programs
- Demonstrated pattern of growth in the ability to lead others
- Planning and organizational skills
