RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on Medical 1100 unit (1st floor medical unit with 28 beds)

• Medical/Telemetry experience required

• Must have Accucheck access prior to facility arrival

• CNC or relief charge experience preferred

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Float to Telemetry and Observation units as needed

• Every other weekend required (Saturdays and Sundays only)

• Dress code:
Royal blue scrubs required

• Must follow attendance policy and meet schedule commitments

• Perform typical procedures including Foley insertion, IV insertion, NG tube insertion

• Administer respiratory treatments when RT is short staffed

• Perform IV blood draws when phlebotomy is short staffed

• Use Meditech EMR system

• Must be flexible personality fit

• Work with team of 38 staff members including 22 nurses, 2 CNCs, 2 unit secretaries, 9 PCTs, and 3 nurse educators
