Overview
The Department of Veterans Affairs Houston Healthcare System is seeking a full-time Staff Psychologist with an addiction and substance-use treatment disorder background for the Michael
E. Debakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. The psychologist will provide direct patient contact including, but not limited to: case management, psychological assessment and treatment planning, individual psychotherapy/assessment sessions, family/caregiver stress therapy sessions, and other evidenced based treatments for serious mental illness. The psychologist will perform evaluations of patients with addiction and substance abuse disorders.

Conduct evaluations of patients with addiction and substance use disorders.
Work ScheduleMon, Tue, Thu, Fri 8:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. and Wed 11:30 a.m.– 8:00 p.m.
Compensation & Benefits- Likely starting base salary range: $,145
