Position: Patient Support/Referral Assoc-FT/Day Shift (Ben Taub Hospital)

Job Summary

Support the service by maintaining records and coordinating appointments, referrals and registration and using their clerical expertise to advance the organization and productivity of the unit. Requires multitasking in a fast pace environment and must be enthusiastic self-starter.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
    High School Diploma with 2 years college preferred
  • Work Experience (Years and Area):
    Min 1 yr Call center or customer service environment
  • Equipment Operated: PC, FAX, PHONES

  • Communication

    Skills:

    Writing / Composing (Correspondence/Reports)
  • Other

    Skills:

    Medical Terms, P.C., Statistical, Typing (wpm 20)
