The diagnostic medical sonographer is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes.
Minimum Qualifications- Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program, ARDMS or ARRT registered.
- Basic Life Support: Basic Life Support from a hospital- based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
- High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Sonography.
- Work Experience: One year ultrasound experience or graduate of an ultrasound training program with a minimum of 3000 clinical hours of ultrasound training
- Ultrasound unit and associated peripheral equipment, Trophon2 disinfection unit
- Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
- Proficiencies: Personal computer
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical Abilities, Mathematics, Other Knowledge skills or Abilities
