Role Description
  • This full-time on-site role in Houston, TX - 77036, requires a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee the management and operation of the nursing department.
  • Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring comprehensive care plans, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and promoting a safe and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
  • Direct the overall operation of the facility's skilled nursing department as directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • Develop and implement the staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and resident population.
  • Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas, BSN preferred
  • 5+ years of nurse management experience in long term care, skilled nursing/rehab facility
  • Expertise in Nursing and Nursing Management, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge and application of Infection Control practices and procedures.
  • Strong foundation and skills in Medicine related to elderly and rehabilitative care.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills.
