Weekend Receptionist

Responsibilities

Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116-bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. We provide 24-hour emergency services and treat children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to provide the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and telephone etiquette to the facility and all visitors. The Receptionist greets and assists all visitors, answers the switchboard, documents incoming deliveries, processes incoming and outgoing mail, provides clerical support as requested, assists with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may help complete appropriate paperwork for new admissions.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification: Current CPR, Physical and Verbal Crisis Intervention Certification. Training may be obtained during new hire orientation.

Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a position requiring contact with the public. Computer and word processing experience. Experience operating a telephone console with multiple lines preferred. Experience in the hospital setting preferred.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 8:30am – 8:30pm.
