The Per-Diem Radiology Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols to ensure optimal imaging results and patient care.

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, technique, and radiation safety measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, reporting any issues as needed.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams and healthcare providers to support patient care.
• Follow all infection control and patient safety procedures.

• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, positioning, and imaging safety.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a surgical and outpatient setting.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Active Radiologic Technologist license in Texas.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in a surgical setting preferred but not required.
