The Interventional Cardiovascular Technician II (ICT II) assists the cardiologist in performing cardiac procedures while practicing and maintaining aseptic technique. Key responsibilities include ensuring supplies are available, all equipment is functioning and properly set‑up before each case, and preparing and monitoring patients in the catheterization lab. The ICT II works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and serves as a preceptor to clinical staff, medical staff, and ultrasound students.

• Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technician program.
• Three (3) years of invasive cardiac experience.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• ACLS and BLS certification from a hospital‑based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
• Two (2) years of hospital experience.

• Above‑average verbal communication skills (heavy public contact).
• Flexible work schedule.
