CT/X‑Ray Tech - Summer Creek CCC, FT Nights

Job Summary- Work at a Level 1 trauma center and the #2 rehabilitation hospital, with opportunities for growth through certifications and training programs.

- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday + every other Saturday 7 pm to 7:30 am (36 hours/week)
- No call
- Rotating holidays
- 15–20 patients per shift
- Perform Computed Tomography (CT) scans: prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast, position patients, select imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality.
- Enter and monitor patient data.
- Conduct quality assurance on CT equipment; assist with initial and renewal ACR accreditation applications.
- Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
- Respond to emergency calls within the department; may work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
- Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors per Memorial Hermann policies, with focus on time management, supply management, productivity, and quality of service.
- Promote professional growth by meeting mandatory/continuing education and skill competency requirements; serve as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
- Demonstrate commitment to compassionate, personalized experiences in line with Memorial Hermann’s service standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
- Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT‑CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB‑CT) in Computed Tomography.
- OR
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT‑R).
- Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT‑N).
- Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist with CT education or experience, preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.
- Strong understanding of CT anatomy, protocols, and scan optimization.
- Clear communication skills and efficient time management.
- Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and ownership of responsibilities.
- Builds trust with patients and team.
