Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Minimum of 3 days per month required

• On-call responsibilities 4-5 times per month with 1 weekend per month

• Minimum of 3 days per month the technologist may be placed on call

• Work with 11 cardiac catheterization labs handling 40-50 cases per day

• Handle various case types including EP (Electrophysiology), IR (Interventional Radiology), and Cath Lab procedures

• Work with CVT and relevant cardiac equipment

• Use Epic electronic medical record system for charting

• Required certifications: BLS Certification and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI

• Valid license submission required

• Daily parking costs $15+ per day with monthly pass options ranging from $95-$120

• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks

This major healthcare facility is a 719-bed Level I Trauma center providing comprehensive cardiovascular and interventional services. The facility features 11 state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories and handles a high volume of complex cardiac procedures daily. The organization utilizes Epic electronic medical records and maintains advanced cardiac care capabilities with specialized equipment for electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
