Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience, RCIS certification, and recent acute care exposure.

• Work in a busy cardiac cath lab within an acute care hospital and Level I trauma center
• Caseload includes EP, IR, and Cath Lab procedures with up to 40-50 cases per day across 11 labs
• Adult patient population in a 719-bed facility
• Scheduled for day shifts, primarily 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with potential for 8 or 12 hour days
• Expected to take 4-5 call shifts per month, including 1 weekend call monthly
• Uses the Epic charting system
• Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures including EP, IR, and interventional cath lab cases
• 12 hours of orientation provided prior to start
• Hospital requires parking fee; daily and monthly parking options are available
• Compliance with dress code and credentialing standards required
• All certifications must be current at the time of submission

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Active BLS and RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certifications required
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Experience with relevant cath lab, EP, and IR equipment
• Must be able to provide a copy of driver's license for consideration
• Two recent professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume Level I trauma setting
