Applicant Eligibility
  • Must be open to traveling to Houston Area Locations (HALs).
  • Shift: Monday - Friday 8-5 pm. No weekends. No on‑call. Outpatient.

Ideal Candidate Profile Must‑Haves:

Nice‑to‑Haves:
  • Experience managing surgical patients
  • Surgical Oncology experience

Experience
  • New graduates will be considered; however, prior APP experience is preferred in a critical care environment or surgical experience.
  • RNFA for APRNs is a plus but not required.
Key Functions
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for new, consult, and follow‑up patients
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and fellows to develop and implement care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab work
  • Document clinical encounters clearly via dictation or manual entry
  • Perform minor outpatient procedures (e.g., wound care, drain removal, suture removal)
  • Manage pre‑ and post‑operative care for surgical patients
  • patient and family education
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams across the institution
  • Participate in education, research, and administrative initiatives as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

Required: Master’s Degree Accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC‑PA), except for Physician Assistants who graduatedators from a PA program prior to 2013.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Required:
