We are looking for a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist I in Hematology to join Quest Diagnostics, a Fortune 500 company leading in diagnostic services.

Pay range: $29.50+ per hour (eligible for shift differential: 10% for second shift, 15% for third shift). Potential annual performance bonus.

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting, and record maintenance.
• Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing samples are handled the same as patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Follow laboratory’s established policies and procedures when test systems fall outside performance levels.
• Identify and correct performance or reporting problems, or notify senior technologist or supervisor.

• BS in Medical Technology preferred; BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, Associate’s in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or established designation as a technologist under 42 CFR 493.
• 1 year of clinical experience (high‑complexity testing) preferred.
