Senior Healthcare Associate at Pride Health

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Houston, TX 77024. This is a 3‑month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top‑tier healthcare organization!

Location: Houston, TX 77024

Duration: 3 months Contract (possibilities of extension)

Pay rate: $19‑22/hr on W2 (based on experience and educational qualifications)

Job Types: Full‑time, Contract

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, and patient signature post‑venipuncture; ensure tubes are labelled correctly and maintain required records.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑directed work with minimal on‑site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including paediatric and geriatric techniques.
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime as staffing needs require.
• Compliance with all policies & procedures, dress code, health & safety guidelines, and everyday excellence guiding principles.
• Decision‑making based on established procedures with sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record when applicable.
• Travel and flexible hours for covering multiple locations.
• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting.
• Superior customer focus, open and transparent communication with peers, supervisors, and patients, and adaptability to change.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Three or more years as a Phlebotomist.
• Customer‑service experience in a retail or service setting preferred.
