Director of Laboratory, Hospital Lab, Mt; ascp

Full-time

Laboratory Director for a general acute care hospital located in SE Texas. The candidate must have strong director-level experience in a medium-size facility, MT (ASCP), and a Master’s degree (Master’s degree highly preferred). Candidates must have strong experience and proven results as Director of Lab Services. A BS degree is required;
Master’s degree is highly preferred.

• Six (6) years clinical laboratory experience, with two (2) years of management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences required
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist licensure required
• Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures and techniques of clinical laboratory analysis, laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
• MT (ASCP) certification;
  Master’s degree highly preferred
• Strong team leadership skills and a steady work history
• Advanced degree in Science or Business preferred
