Kids Care Home Health is an ethical, therapist‑owned and operated home health company. We are seeking to immediately hire an Intern Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to children with special needs in the comfort of their own homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
- Perform evaluations focused on receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, vocal and oral‑motor competence, articulation, and auditory skills.
- Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
- Maintain communication with patients and families regarding progress, home programs, and other therapeutic issues.
- Refer patients to appropriate services including other professionals, agencies, and resources.
- Consult with supervisor on patient progress, maintain appropriate records, and participate in supervised visits as required by the State Board of Examiners for Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, attend internal and external public education functions, and participate in QAPI programs.
- Engage in continuing education, maintain adequate caseload, and achieve productivity goals.
- Collaborate with the team, demonstrate initiative and independent judgment, and serve as the backup provider for other caseloads as needed.
- Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Current state‑issued professional licensure.
- Valid state driver license.
- CPR certification.
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Read and write in simple correspondence; effective public speaking in small groups.
- Excellent critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and routine database activity.
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Stand, walk, reach, sit, kneel, and crawl activities for 33–66% of the time.
- Perform tasks using hands and fingers, including handling, speaking, and hearing, for most of the shift.
- Work in diverse indoor residential or childcare settings with moderate noise levels.
- Lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Require close vision for certain tasks.
- Perform moderate physical activity and occasional strenuous therapy tasks.
