Position: Clinical Dietitian I

Clinical Dietitian

Job Description
We are searching for a Clinical Dietitian who works well in a fast‑paced setting. In this role, you will assess the nutritional needs of patients, develop and implement nutritional care plans, and communicate information to patients and families in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages served.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
    Master’s preferred.
  • Certified Registered Dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registry.
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) from the Texas Department of Licensing.
  • Pediatric Nutrition experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate patient nutritional care plans.
  • Provide age‑appropriate education to support the nutritional plan of care and assess learning needs and readiness for all patients and families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to integrate and communicate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in and interpret research to improve clinical practices.
  • Document nutrition care effectively within medical records and utilize SBAR techniques for handoffs.
  • Contribute to departmental development and visibility by reviewing and revising nutrition‑related resources, policies, and procedures.
