Hours:
Friday 7A-7P;
Saturday & Sunday 1:30pm‑10pm.
The Multimodality Technologist is a skilled and experienced clinical technologist responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures across two or more specialized modalities. This role includes routine and advanced diagnostic procedures in a fast‑paced emergency care environment. The position requires independent decision-making, patient care, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure top‑tier service and patient safety. This is a direct patient care position requiring strong clinical acumen, technical skill, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures using two or more imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT, Mammography).
- Provide high‑quality imaging for accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team to assist in complex diagnostic procedures.
- Comply with all radiation safety guidelines, protocols, and infection prevention measures.
- Document patient records and imaging data accurately in EMR systems.
- Support other duties including admissions, registration, and patient transport, as needed.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving skills during challenging cases.
- Maintain equipment and report issues to appropriate personnel.
- Support quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.
- Certification in MRI (ARRT‑MRI) – Required
- Certification in CT (ARRT‑CT) OR Mammography (ARRT‑M) – Required
- Minimum of 2 years combined experience in more than one specialty modality
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) – or eligible upon hire
- Prior experience in an Emergency Care or Trauma setting
- Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, PACS)
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts and weekends
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program?
- Certified in MRI (ARRT‑MRI)?
- Certified in CT (ARRT‑CT) OR Mammography (ARRT‑M)?
- 2+ years combined experience in multiple modalities?
- BLS Certification (AHA)?
- Experience in Emergency or Urgent Care setting?
- Experience With EMR Systems (e.g., Epic, PACS)?
- Willing to work Day/Evening shifts and weekends?
