• Experienced neurologic PT, ready to treat clients beyond the clinic into real life settings such as home, school, community, or workplace.

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, patients, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and enhance patient outcomes.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification as required by state regulations.
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a physical therapist (preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds for patient handling, following safety procedures.
• Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and capacity to walk/stand for extended periods.
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
• Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, per local or state regulations.
