Summary:
JOB SUMMARY: The Program Manager II for Health Education, Research, Training, Clinical Services & Community Engagement leads planning and implementation of health education, research, training, clinical services, and community engagement initiatives that expand access to preventive care, improve health outcomes, and strengthen partnerships across community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, clinics, and public agencies. The role manages multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end—strategy, budgets, staffing, operations, data, and reporting—while advancing health outcomes across screening, prevention, disease management, and navigation services.

This is a Grant Funded position.
Summary:
Health Education & Communications
- Develop and facilitate cultural and literacy level appropriate Health Education contents: plain-language curricula, toolkits, continued education programs, and digital materials
- Deliver workshops, town halls, and small-group education
- Coordinate Health Education/outreach events, materials, website/social updates, and media requests
- Coordinates and arranges meetings, community-based work group sessions, luncheons, seminars, conferences, and travel plans.
- Prepares meeting agendas, reserves rooms and facilities, and distributes minutes of meetings when required.
- Coordinate and facilitate community engagement, Health Education, and Clinical Services initiatives (e.g., cancer screening & prevention, chronic disease, navigation, mobile/outreach).
- Oversee community engagement, Health Education, and Clinical Service events: logistics, planning/implementation, staffing, supplies, and post-event follow-up.
- Create SOPs, referral pathways, closed-loop follow-up, and program workflows.
- Build and steward partnerships with FQHCs, CBOs, FBOs, schools, and public health agencies.
- Establish and facilitate Community Advisory Boards; co-design initiatives using CBPR principles.
- Represent the organization in coalitions; negotiate MOUs and data-sharing agreements
- Translate program goals into workplans with timelines, KPIs, and budgets.
- Support funding proposals, scopes, and deliverables; maintain IRB/ethics documentation
- Ensure day-to-day operations of programs; plan/implement team meetings and take notes
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, sponsor terms; support pragmatic evaluations, grant reporting, and budget management
- Assist PIs, PD, Core directors, and users in progress reports and manuscripts of various projects and progress reports
- Support communication, coordination, and deliverables with the funding organization and the coordinating center
- Orders and maintains supplies and outreach materials.
- Supervise coordinators/navigators; educators, and volunteers/fellows; recruit, onboard, set goals, coach performance, and build professional development plans.
- Oversee scheduling, supply management, and logistics for community events.
- Assists with the coordination and tracking of pending assignments or requests for information from internal and external contacts.

Hiring Range: $74,879.81 - $95,471.75
Education:- Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years Health Education, Research, Training, Clinical Services & Community Engagement or similar including 2+ years leading health programs is required.
